Go Electric with the New 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV

Last year was the first official release of the Chevrolet Silverado EV, and it was a smashing success. Chevy took the feedback from the debut and implemented some interesting changes to the new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV. Namely, it has a brand-new trim level and increased range.

At its core, it remains a workhorse running on electric power, ready for anything you throw at it. It just does a few things better this year. We’re seeing more and more electric vehicles in Tulsa, so now might be the best time to join the train.

If you’re unsure whether an EV is the right choice for you, maybe our Research Hub can help. It is packed with shopping tips and vehicle reviews to help you make the right decision. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the incredible 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV.

2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV  Battery

One worry many potential EV buyers have is about the range of these cars. There is still a stigma around them that they don’t go very far on a single charge. Chevy addressed this head-on with the biggest change from 2024 to 2025: new battery and range options. This year, you have the option of adding a battery pack that will give you up to 460 miles of autonomy.

To put in perspective how much power that is, you could power your home in the event of a blackout with nothing but your pickup. The GM Energy PowerShift Charger works with the GM Energy Vehicle-to-Home Enablement Kit to transform your Silverado EV into a backup power source. When properly equipped, it can power your home for up to 21 days with reduced daily energy usage during emergencies.
