24-Month/Unlimited-Mile Limited Warranty

Our most common Parts Warranty provides coverage on a wide range of GM Service Replacement Parts, including labor (when installed by a General Motors dealership). This includes GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts. The warranty is valid as long as the part was installed by a GM dealer. Limited Lifetime Warranty

General Motors offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on specific service replacement parts purchased through GM dealerships. This warranty covers all manufacturer defects and includes 24 months of labor coverage (see eligible parts list below):

Wheel Bearings / Hub Assemblies

Effective Date: Warranty applies to eligible parts purchased on or after April 1, 2014, and remains valid for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part was installed.

Qualifications: The original purchaser must retain the sales receipt and/or repair order along with the properly completed warranty reimbursement form. Forms are provided at the time of purchase or available at genuinegmparts.com.


12-Month/Unlimited-Mile Warranty

Effective April 1, 2018, General Motors provides 12-month/unlimited-mile warranty coverage on select ACDelco Replacement Parts, including labor, when installed by a GM dealership.

Covered parts include:

Advantage Wheel Bearings / Hub Assemblies

Advantage Shocks and Struts

Advantage Brakes

Advantage Chassis Components

Hardware items including bolts, fasteners, grommets, spacers, shims, washers, and clips


Original Purchaser’s Obligations

This warranty remains in effect as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle where the eligible part was installed. To file a claim, the purchaser must return the vehicle to a participating Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac dealership and provide proof of installation (e.g., original repair order). Parts are covered in full, and labor is covered up to 2 years from the original purchase date.

Exclusions

Please note, all warranties above exclude the following:

  • Fluids and any non-covered components required for installation
  • Damage caused by improper installation, alterations, or foreign object impacts
  • Issues resulting from non-approved coolant mixtures
  • Use of parts in applications not specified by GM
  • Any incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, time, or convenience
