About the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
The Grand Sport is a two-seat, mid-engine sports car built at Bowling Green, Kentucky, and for 2027 it carries a naturally aspirated 6.7L LS6 V8 making 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft. Three equipment levels run from $86,000 to $97,750 before the $2,495 destination charge, each available as a coupe with a removable roof panel or as a convertible. It uses the wide body previously reserved for the Z06, at 79.7 inches across, with Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0 and staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheels. Chevrolet quotes 2.75 seconds to 60 mph with available equipment.
What is new for 2027 is the LS6 itself, a new-generation small block running 13.0:1 compression, and the return of the Grand Sport name to the mid-engine car. Above it sits the Grand Sport X, which adds a 186-horsepower electric motor on the front axle for 721 combined horsepower and all-wheel drive, arriving in fall 2026. Two performance packages are offered on the Grand Sport, and the Z52 Track Performance Package brings carbon-ceramic brakes and the Carbon Fiber Aero Package.
Where to Start
Choosing between equipment levels, start with the trims page. Checking a figure, go to the specifications page.
