2027 Equinox Trims
2027 Chevrolet Equinox Trims in Tulsa, OK
Six trims across two nameplates: gas LT, RS and ACTIV from $29,000, and Equinox EV LT 1, LT 2 and RS from $34,995, compared for Tulsa.
Six trims wear the 2027 Chevrolet Equinox badge in Tulsa, and they climb two ladders rather than one. LT, RS and ACTIV are the gas steps, opening at $29,000 and finishing at $33,900, every price quoted before a $1,995 destination charge. LT 1, LT 2 and RS are the electric steps, running $34,995 to $44,095 with an $1,800 destination charge of their own. Ranking all six as a single list from cheapest to dearest is the error that costs money, because each ladder answers a different question.
Jim Norton T-Town Chevrolet stocks the lineup at 4924 S Memorial Dr, minutes from Woodland Hills Mall and an easy run in on the Broken Arrow Expressway or the Creek Turnpike. This page walks all six trims in order, prices each against the trim below it, sets them side by side in a full matrix, and closes with a step-up guide and the questions buyers actually ask. For the wider model-year picture, start with our 2027 Chevrolet Equinox overview.

2027 Equinox Trims at a Glance for Tulsa Buyers
Six trims, two ladders. On the gas side LT is the volume trim and carries the equipment most families shop for; RS and ACTIV share the identical $33,900 starting price and split by intent rather than by content, one styled dark and street-focused, the other on all-terrain tires and a uniquely-tuned suspension. On the electric side LT 1 is the range trim, LT 2 is the comfort trim, and RS is the design trim on 21-inch Black wheels. Every price below excludes destination, which is how Chevrolet publishes them: $1,995 on the gas Equinox and $1,800 on the Equinox EV. The two charges are different because the two vehicles are different.
| Trim | Starting MSRP (excludes destination) | Positioning |

Trim-by-Trim Breakdown of All Six 2027 Equinox Models
2027 Chevrolet Equinox LT: $29,000
LT opens the gas ladder at $29,000, excluding the $1,995 destination charge, and it is the trim that moves. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is a $2,000 step, putting LT AWD at $31,000 before destination. The 1.5L Turbo four-cylinder makes 175 hp at 5,600 rpm and 203 lb-ft, paired with an 8-speed automatic on front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive alike. The 8-speed on front-drive models is new for 2027, replacing the transmission the prior car used, which matters when you are comparing a 2027 sticker against a used 2026 down the row.
What LT gives you standard is the equipment you reach for in a January cold snap: heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, included rather than packaged. The 11.3-inch diagonal infotainment touchscreen is standard, with Google built-in, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and OnStar connectivity, and HD Surround Vision is available. Seating is for 5 on cloth or leatherette seating surfaces, LT runs the base wheel and tire fitment, and roof-mounted side rails and cross rails are available. Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every 2027 Equinox, so no trim in this lineup buys you more of it than another - the 2027 Equinox specs page lists what is in it and what a Tulsa driver can add on top.
On the numbers that decide a commute, LT front-wheel drive returns 25 city, 29 highway and 27 combined MPG with 400 miles of total range on a 14.8-gallon tank of regular unleaded (source: fueleconomy.gov). All-wheel drive reads 25 city, 29 highway and 26 combined with 406 miles of range. Cargo is 29.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 63.5 folded, and when properly equipped the Equinox tows up to 1,500 lbs. LT is the one for the buyer who wants the whole daily feature set and would rather put the difference toward the payment. More background sits on our Chevrolet Equinox research hub.
2027 Chevrolet Equinox RS: $33,900
RS is a $4,900 step over LT to $33,900, excluding the $1,995 destination charge, with all-wheel drive again a $2,000 step to $35,900. The mechanical package does not change: the same 1.5L Turbo, 175 hp at 5,600 rpm and 203 lb-ft, the same 8-speed automatic, the same 27 MPG combined front-wheel drive and 26 combined all-wheel drive, the same 1,500-lb maximum when properly equipped. What changes is how the car presents itself.
RS is the blacked-out Equinox. Chevrolet fits Black mirrors, Black moldings and Black emblems and badging, and an available two-tone Black roof takes the treatment further. Inside, the flat-bottom steering wheel is the tell that separates an RS from an LT at a glance, over the same cloth and leatherette seating surfaces the lineup offers. Wheels are the other headline: 19-inch wheels are standard and a 20-inch machined set is available, the largest fitment offered on the gas Equinox and the single change that most alters how the car looks parked on Memorial Drive. Roof rails are standard here rather than available.
Everything that makes LT worth buying comes along: the 11.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in, CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, OnStar, heated front seats, the heated steering wheel, over 15 standard safety and driver assistance features including the six Chevy Safety Assist items, and an available list that runs HD Surround Vision, Side Bicyclist Alert, Rear Camera Mirror and Rear Cross Traffic Braking. Cargo holds at 29.8 cubic feet behind the second row and 63.5 folded, and the cabin still seats 5. RS is the one for the buyer who wants the Equinox to look like the most expensive car in the school pickup line and who will notice those 20-inch machined wheels every time they walk up to it.
2027 Chevrolet Equinox ACTIV: $33,900
ACTIV carries the same $33,900 starting price as RS, excluding the $1,995 destination charge, and the same $2,000 all-wheel-drive step to $35,900. Two trims at one price is deliberate. This is not a rung above RS, it is a lateral move to a different intent, and the buyer who wants one rarely wants the other.
ACTIV is the adventure-ready build. Chevrolet fits all-terrain tires and a uniquely-tuned suspension, the only place in the gas lineup where the chassis itself is changed rather than dressed. Seating surfaces are Evotex and sueded microfiber, a hard-wearing combination that answers a wet dog and a tailgate better than a smooth leatherette does, and an available two-tone white roof gives ACTIV its own signature. Roof rails are standard, which is the practical half of the story for anyone strapping a kayak on before a run down to the Arkansas River.
The powertrain is unchanged: 1.5L Turbo, 175 hp at 5,600 rpm, 203 lb-ft, 8-speed automatic on front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, 25 city and 29 highway either way, 27 MPG combined front-drive and 26 combined all-wheel drive (source: fueleconomy.gov). Ground clearance is 8.08 inches, and the Equinox rides on a MacPherson strut front and four-link rear suspension with four-wheel antilock disc brakes. Cargo is the same 29.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 63.5 folded, towing is up to 1,500 lbs when properly equipped, and the tech package matches LT and RS with the 11.3-inch touchscreen and the full standard safety suite. ACTIV is the one for the buyer who runs gravel county roads, a boat ramp or a job site during the week and wants tires and a suspension built for it rather than a wheel package.
2027 Chevrolet Equinox EV LT 1: $34,995
LT 1 opens the electric ladder at $34,995, excluding the $1,800 destination charge, which puts it $5,995 above the gas LT. Read that as the entry point to a different vehicle rather than a step up the same one. The Equinox EV is a battery-electric midsize SUV, 190.6 inches long on a 116.3-inch wheelbase, with an 85 kWh battery and single-speed direct drive.
Nothing about the entry rung is a reduced version of the car. LT 1 leaves our lot with the full published range, 319 miles EPA-estimated in front-wheel drive and 307 miles with available all-wheel drive, and with the identical NACS port and 11.5 kW capable onboard module that LT 2 and RS carry. Chevrolet holds back no charging hardware for the upper steps, so stepping up this ladder never buys a mile or a kilowatt. How the roadside and household systems actually behave is laid out on the 2027 Equinox EV page.
The 17.7-inch center touchscreen is standard on LT 1, not a step-up item, and Chevrolet calls it the largest among EVs in its class. Google built-in is standard and Google Gemini is available. Safety runs deeper than the gas car's: over 20 standard safety and driver assistance features, with Adaptive Cruise Control standard, and Super Cruise available. Wheels are 19-inch machined-face aluminum standard with 21-inch aluminum available, seating is for 5 on Black cloth seating surfaces, and cargo is 26.4 cubic feet behind the second row and 57.2 cubic feet maximum. Roof rails are not offered on LT 1. This is the trim for the driver who wants the full range figure and the full screen and does not need heated seats to get there. Our Chevrolet Equinox EV research hub has more on the nameplate.
2027 Chevrolet Equinox EV LT 2: $41,795
LT 2 is a $6,800 step over LT 1 to $41,795, excluding the $1,800 destination charge, and it is the comfort and convenience rung of the electric ladder. Chevrolet describes it as everything on LT 1 plus a specific list, and that list is where the money goes.
The heated group arrives first: heated steering wheel, heated front seats and heated mirrors, all standard. In an Oklahoma winter that trio does more work in an EV than in a gas car, because cabin heating is the load that moves an electric range figure most. HD Surround Vision moves from available to standard, joining the over 20 standard safety and driver assistance features and the standard Adaptive Cruise Control that LT 1 already carries. Wireless phone charging is standard. A front center LED light bar is fitted on LT 2 and RS, the exterior signature that separates them from LT 1 after dark, and roof-mounted side rails are standard rather than unavailable.
Nothing about the drivetrain or the pack changes: the same 85 kWh battery, the same single-speed direct drive, the same standard NACS port and up to 150 kW DC fast charging, the same 319 miles EPA-estimated with front-wheel drive and 307 miles with available all-wheel drive. The 17.7-inch center touchscreen and Google built-in carry over, wheels stay 19-inch machined-face aluminum standard with 21-inch available, the Black cloth seating surfaces seat 5, cargo stays at 26.4 cubic feet behind the second row and 57.2 maximum, and the EV tows 1,500 lbs. Super Cruise, Chevrolet's hands-free driver assistance technology, is available, and a Creek Turnpike or Highway 51 commuter is exactly the buyer it was built for. LT 2 is the one for the driver who wants the electric car to be the comfortable car every morning, not only the cheap-to-run one.
2027 Chevrolet Equinox EV RS: $44,095
RS tops the lineup at $44,095, excluding the $1,800 destination charge, a $2,300 step over LT 2 and the smallest rung on either ladder. It is everything on LT 2 plus a full design package, which makes it the least expensive way to move a long distance in how the car looks.
Chevrolet fits unique front and rear fascias, Black exterior accents and a flat-bottom steering wheel, and puts the car on 21-inch Black wheels. That is the largest and darkest fitment offered on either Equinox nameplate, and against LT 2's 19-inch machined-face standard set it is the change people notice from across a parking lot. The front center LED light bar and roof-mounted side rails carry over from LT 2, as do the heated steering wheel, heated front seats, heated mirrors, standard HD Surround Vision, wireless phone charging and the Black cloth seating surfaces for 5.
Underneath, it is the same Equinox EV: 85 kWh battery, single-speed direct drive, standard NACS charging port, up to 150 kW DC fast charging and up to 80 miles of range in 10 minutes, about 9.5 hours on a 240-volt home charger, 319 miles EPA-estimated on front-wheel drive and 307 on available all-wheel drive, and 103 MPGe combined on all-wheel drive at 112 city and 95 highway (source: fueleconomy.gov). The 17.7-inch center touchscreen, Google built-in with available Google Gemini, over 20 standard safety and driver assistance features and available Super Cruise all carry. Cargo is 26.4 cubic feet behind the second row and 57.2 maximum, and the battery and electric components are covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles. RS is the one for the buyer who wanted the electric SUV to be the best-looking thing in the driveway and is happy to pay $2,300 for it.
Side-by-Side 2027 Equinox Trim Comparison Matrix for Tulsa Shoppers

Common 2027 Equinox Trim Comparisons Buyers Run
Equinox LT vs Equinox RS
The most-run comparison on the gas car, and a $4,900 question about appearance rather than capability. Both carry the 1.5L Turbo with 175 hp at 5,600 rpm and 203 lb-ft, the 8-speed automatic, 27 MPG combined front-wheel drive, the same 29.8 and 63.5 cubic feet of cargo, the same 11.3-inch touchscreen and the same heated front seats and heated steering wheel. RS adds the Black mirrors, moldings, emblems and badging, the flat-bottom steering wheel, standard roof rails, 19-inch standard wheels with a 20-inch machined set available, and an available two-tone Black roof. If how the car looks in the driveway is part of what you are buying, RS is the answer and those wheels are the reason.
Equinox RS vs Equinox ACTIV
Same $33,900 starting price, same $2,000 all-wheel-drive step, same powertrain and same EPA numbers, so this one is pure intent. RS is the street build: dark trim, flat-bottom wheel, 19-inch standard and 20-inch machined available. ACTIV is the gravel and trail build: all-terrain tires, a uniquely-tuned suspension, Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces and an available two-tone white roof. ACTIV is the only gas trim where the chassis and the rubber change rather than the trim, so if your week includes a lake road out past Sand Springs or an unsealed job site, that is the one built for it.
Equinox LT vs Equinox EV LT 1
The two entry points sit $5,995 apart, $29,000 against $34,995, each before its own destination charge. The gas LT gives 400 miles of total range on a 14.8-gallon tank of regular unleaded, the 1.5L Turbo, an 11.3-inch touchscreen and 29.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats. The EV LT 1 gives 319 miles EPA-estimated on a front-wheel-drive build, an 85 kWh battery refilled overnight in about 9.5 hours on a 240-volt home charger, a 17.7-inch center touchscreen, over 20 standard safety features with Adaptive Cruise Control, and available Super Cruise, in a longer vehicle on a 116.3-inch wheelbase. Our gas vs EV comparison runs the full matchup.
Equinox EV LT 2 vs Equinox EV RS
$2,300 separates them, the smallest step anywhere in the lineup. Range, battery, charging, screen, safety content, heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, HD Surround Vision, wireless charging, the LED light bar and roof rails are all identical. RS spends the $2,300 entirely on design: unique front and rear fascias, Black exterior accents, a flat-bottom steering wheel and 21-inch Black wheels in place of the 19-inch machined-face standard set. For the buyer who was already going to add the 21-inch wheels, RS is the efficient way there and brings the fascias and accents along with them.
The 2027 Equinox Value Verdict and Step-Up Guide
Value Verdict
Equinox LT at $29,000 is the volume trim, and it earns that on standard content: heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, the 11.3-inch touchscreen and over 15 standard safety features at the opening price. RS at $33,900 is for the buyer who wants the dark exterior treatment and the 19-inch or available 20-inch wheels. ACTIV at the same $33,900 is for the buyer who wants all-terrain tires and a re-tuned suspension. Equinox EV LT 1 at $34,995 is for the buyer who wants 319 miles EPA-estimated and the 17.7-inch screen; LT 2 at $41,795 is for the buyer who wants the heated group and HD Surround Vision standard; RS at $44,095 is for the buyer who wants 21-inch Black wheels and the full design package. Add $2,000 on any gas trim for all-wheel drive.
| Step | Step up over the trim below | What it adds | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| LT to RS | $4,900 | Black exterior treatment, flat-bottom wheel, standard roof rails, 19-inch standard and 20-inch machined wheels, available two-tone Black roof | The buyer who wants the Equinox to look its best on the street |
| LT to ACTIV (lateral to RS, different intent) | $4,900 | All-terrain tires, uniquely-tuned suspension, Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces, standard roof rails, available two-tone white roof | The buyer who runs gravel, ramps and job sites during the week |
| Any gas trim, FWD to AWD | $2,000 | All-wheel drive with the same 8-speed automatic, 26 MPG combined and 406 miles of total range | The buyer who wants traction on an Oklahoma ice morning |
| Gas LT to Equinox EV LT 1 | $5,995 | 85 kWh battery, 319 miles EPA-estimated FWD, 17.7-inch touchscreen, over 20 standard safety features, available Super Cruise | The buyer with a place to plug in overnight |
| EV LT 1 to EV LT 2 | $6,800 | Heated steering wheel, heated front seats and mirrors, standard HD Surround Vision, wireless phone charging, LED light bar, roof rails | The buyer who wants the electric car to be the comfortable one |
| EV LT 2 to EV RS | $2,300 | Unique front and rear fascias, Black exterior accents, flat-bottom steering wheel, 21-inch Black wheels | The buyer who wants the boldest car on either ladder |
Every trim carries the same 3-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and one scheduled maintenance visit at 12 months or 12,000 miles, so the step-up decision is about equipment rather than coverage. Our Equinox service and maintenance page covers what that first visit includes.
Which 2027 Equinox Trim Is Right for You in Tulsa
If you want the most Equinox for the least money
Equinox LT at $29,000, excluding the $1,995 destination charge. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, the 11.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in and CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and over 15 standard safety and driver assistance features all arrive at the opening price, with 27 MPG combined and 400 miles of total range in front-wheel drive.
If your commute crosses town in ice season
Add all-wheel drive for $2,000 on whichever gas trim you like, or look at the Equinox EV with its available all-wheel drive. A gas Equinox in all-wheel drive reads 25 city, 29 highway and 26 combined with 406 miles of total range; the Equinox EV in all-wheel drive is EPA-estimated at 307 miles and 103 MPGe combined.
If you want hands-free highway driving
Go electric. Super Cruise, Chevrolet's hands-free driver assistance technology, is available on the 2027 Equinox EV across LT 1, LT 2 and RS, and it is not offered on the gas Equinox for 2027. If that feature is on your list, the Equinox EV is the car; our 2027 Equinox EV page covers how it works on a Highway 51 run.
If your weekends run to gravel and boat ramps
Equinox ACTIV at $33,900. All-terrain tires and a uniquely-tuned suspension are the only chassis-level changes in the gas lineup, ground clearance is 8.08 inches, roof rails are standard, and the Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces are built to be wiped down. Buyers driving in from Glenpool and Okmulgee pick this one most often.
If you charge at home and drive a lot of miles
Equinox EV LT 1 at $34,995 gives the full 319-mile EPA-estimated front-wheel-drive figure and the 17.7-inch screen without stepping up. About 9.5 hours on a 240-volt home charger refills it overnight, and the standard NACS port for 2027 opens a far wider public network for longer trips. Step to LT 2 at $41,795 if you want the heated group standard.
If you want the sharpest-looking one on the lot
Equinox EV RS at $44,095 on 21-inch Black wheels with unique fascias and Black accents, or Equinox RS at $33,900 with the Black exterior treatment and available 20-inch machined wheels if you are staying with gas. Both are the design trims of their ladders. Compare the two nameplates on our 2027 Equinox research page.

2027 Equinox Trim FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions in Tulsa
How many 2027 Chevrolet Equinox trims are there?
Six, across two separate nameplates. The gas 2027 Chevrolet Equinox is offered in LT at $29,000, RS at $33,900 and ACTIV at $33,900, each excluding a $1,995 destination charge. The 2027 Chevrolet Equinox EV is a different vehicle on its own platform, offered in LT 1 at $34,995, LT 2 at $41,795 and RS at $44,095, each excluding an $1,800 destination charge. RS and ACTIV share a starting price on the gas side because they are two different intents rather than two steps, one street-styled and one on all-terrain tires with a re-tuned suspension.
How much does all-wheel drive add to a 2027 Equinox?
All-wheel drive is a $2,000 step on any gas Equinox trim, so LT goes from $29,000 to $31,000 and both RS and ACTIV go from $33,900 to $35,900, all excluding the $1,995 destination charge. The 8-speed automatic is standard on front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive alike for 2027. EPA figures shift slightly: front-wheel drive reads 25 city, 29 highway and 27 combined with 400 miles of total range, and all-wheel drive reads 25 city, 29 highway and 26 combined with 406 miles (source: fueleconomy.gov). The Equinox EV offers available all-wheel drive as well.
Which 2027 Equinox trims come with heated front seats?
Every gas trim, and only the top two electric ones. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard on the $29,000 LT and carry through RS and ACTIV, which is unusually generous at an opening price and a large part of why LT is the step that moves in Tulsa. On the electric ladder the heated group is held back: LT 1 at $34,995 goes without, while heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and heated mirrors all arrive together at LT 2 for $41,795 and continue on RS. If a January commute in from Broken Arrow or Sand Springs is the deciding scenario, that changes which electric rung you should be shopping. The 2027 Equinox EV page takes the electric ladder from the top.
Why do the Equinox RS and ACTIV cost the same?
Because neither one sits above the other. Both open at $33,900 before the $1,995 destination charge, both take the $2,000 all-wheel-drive step, and both run the same engine and the same EPA numbers, so Chevrolet priced them level on purpose and split them by intent instead. RS spends its content on the street: Black mirrors, moldings, emblems and badging, a flat-bottom steering wheel, 19-inch wheels standard with a 20-inch machined set available, and an available two-tone Black roof. ACTIV spends the same money on surfaces, with all-terrain tires, a uniquely-tuned suspension, Evotex and sueded microfiber seating and an available two-tone white roof. Roof rails are standard either way. Buy RS for appearance and ACTIV for what you park on.
Which 2027 Equinox trim has the biggest touchscreen?
Any of the three electric steps, and they tie. Chevrolet fits one 17.7-inch display across LT 1, LT 2 and RS, exactly as it fits one common display size across LT, RS and ACTIV on the gas car. Screen size therefore never enters a step-up calculation on either ladder; it is settled the moment a Tulsa buyer picks gas or electric, and no amount of climbing changes it afterward. Display sizes, software and what each screen runs natively are set out on the 2027 Equinox specs page.
What does the Equinox EV LT 2 add over the LT 1?
The step is $6,800, from $34,995 to $41,795 before the $1,800 destination charge, and it buys a defined list: heated steering wheel, heated front seats and heated mirrors, HD Surround Vision as standard equipment, wireless phone charging, the front center LED light bar and roof-mounted side rails, which are not offered on LT 1. Range, battery, charging speed, screen size and the standard safety count are the same on both. LT 2 is the one for the driver who wants a warm cabin and a warm wheel on a January morning.
Can I order a 2027 Equinox trim that is not in stock?
Yes. Between the two nameplates there are six trims, two drivetrain choices on the gas car, available all-wheel drive on the electric one, and colour and wheel combinations on top of that, so no lot holds every build. Check current Equinox inventory first, since the trim you want is often already here, then call (918) 921-2100 and our team will locate or order the exact configuration.
