Every published specification for the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, grouped for buyers who want the numbers rather than the adjectives. Where Chevrolet has not published a figure, no figure appears here. For the trim ladder and what each step costs, see the Grand Sport trims page; for the car in context, the Grand Sport overview.

Key Numbers

  • Acceleration: 2.75 seconds to 60 mph, 10.95 seconds at 124 mph in the quarter mile, with available equipment.

  • Fuel tank 18.5 gallons; luggage room 9.1 cubic feet across two compartments; two seats.

Engine Specifications

One engine across all three equipment levels. The LS6 is a new-generation small-block, naturally aspirated, and it is the most powerful standard engine Chevrolet has fitted to a Corvette.

Torque520 lb-ft

Chevrolet quotes 2.75 seconds to 60 mph and a 10.95-second quarter mile at 124 mph, both with available equipment. The 13.0:1 compression ratio is the highest Chevrolet has run in a Corvette V8, and a new continuously variable oil pump maintains pressure across the rev range.

Exterior Dimensions

The Grand Sport uses the wide body previously reserved for the Z06, which is the single dimension that most changes how the car behaves and how it parks.

Width, excluding mirrors79.7 inches
Wheelbase107.0 inches
Height48.6 inches
Body stylesCoupe with removable roof panel, or convertible
AerodynamicsWide-body chassis, integrated rear spoiler, wide side air inlets

Interior Dimensions and Capacity

Two seats, and luggage room split across two compartments rather than one.

MeasureFigure
Seating capacity2
Luggage volume, both compartments9.1 cubic feet
Fuel tank18.5 gallons

The coupe's removable roof panel stows in the rear compartment, so the roof and a full load of luggage compete for the same space. The convertible's power hardtop folds without taking the front compartment, which is the practical argument for it on a longer trip.

Wheels, Tires, and Brakes

Staggered forged aluminium wheels as standard, with the brake and tyre specification changing by performance package rather than by equipment level.

Fuel Economy and Fuel System

The 2027 Corvette has not yet been rated. Ratings are published by the EPA at fueleconomy.gov and will appear there once testing completes; that is the figure to use, and it is the only one worth quoting.

What is known: the tank holds 18.5 gallons, and the LS6 runs Active Fuel Management, which shuts down cylinders under light load. On a steady run down US-75 toward Okmulgee that is the system doing the work; it does nothing for you at the top of the rev range, which is where this engine wants to live.

Safety and Compliance

An HD rear vision camera and a rear camera mirror are standard on every Grand Sport. Rear cross traffic alert and side blind zone alert are standard from 2LT. Automatic emergency braking and forward collision alert are standard across the Chevrolet range.

Hands-free driving is not part of the Corvette package: the range offers neither Super Cruise nor adaptive cruise control. Crash-test results are published by NHTSA and the IIHS; neither has rated this car, and both sites carry the current position.

What These 2027 Corvette Grand Sport Numbers Mean in Practice

The numberWhat it means when you own one
79.7 inches wideWider than most full-size pickups across the body. A standard nine-foot garage bay works, but mirrors-out clearance in a downtown Tulsa parking structure is the real constraint, and the toll plazas on the Creek Turnpike are tighter than they look. That is why the 2LT blind zone alerts earn their money
48.6 inches tallLow enough that kerbs, steep driveway aprons and speed humps need approaching at an angle. Front-axle lift is the option worth having if your driveway is steep
9.1 cubic feet of luggageTwo soft weekend bags, comfortably. Two hard suitcases, no. And not alongside the coupe's roof panel, which lives in the same rear compartment
18.5-gallon tankEnough for a full day of back roads, and worth topping up before a run south on US-75 where stations thin out past Glenpool. Owners coming from Broken Arrow tend to fill up before they cross town
535 hp, rear-wheel driveAll of it goes to the rear axle. On a cold, damp Oklahoma morning that is a car to warm up gently. The all-wheel-drive alternative is the Grand Sport X
